Shawn Piper

President, Owner | Belle-Technologies

Since 2019, Shawn Piper has excelled as the president and owner of Belle-Technologies, utilizing his decades of experience in the structured cabling industry. Guided by a strong work ethic and the utmost loyalty to his customers, many of whom have followed him for more than 15 years, he’s consistently transparent about the status of projects. He always brings any problem to their attention—along with a proposed solution.

Mr. Piper previously managed operations at Data-Tel of Louisiana and project management at GM Cable Contractors, Inc. While at the former, his employer challenged him to design and complete fiber optic systems for the city of Zachary, Louisiana, which initially had a school system comprised of nine schools. Within a year, he and his team successfully designed, permitted, and installed approximately 12 miles of fiber optic infrastructure to interconnect them. He considers this project his most notable achievement.

In addition, between 2013 and 2019, Mr. Piper excelled as the senior estimator of industrial services for CabelWorks, Inc., a project manager for BlueStream Professional Services, and an operations manager for a cable company. At Bell-Tech, which he runs with his wife, Julie, and daughter, Taylor Belle, he’s found success providing services such as design, installation, certification, troubleshooting, and repair, from structured cabling to fiber optics and surveillance camera systems. Since forming, some of their clients have included Wachter, Amazon, Eastman Chemical Company, and St. James Parish Schools, among several others.

As a testament to his leadership, Belle-Tech earned the Safety Star Award from Avetta in 2024.

Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. Piper is extremely connected to his community. He’s been active as a board member and president of the Ascension Christian Lions Athletic Booster Club from 2023 to 2024 and a frequent churchgoer. In 2023, he wrote “Broken Lenses,” a gripping memoir about his harrowing childhood, which was shaped by trauma and abuse, leading to a diagnosis of cPTSD. Starting as a therapy exercise, it’s led to a counseling program at Fellowship Church. Looking forward, Mr. Piper aims to expand his company throughout the Southeastern United States and wishes to align with God’s plans for his life.
